How to add an exhibition or event to Gludo

This guide explains how to list a trade show, conference, or professional event on the Gludo events directory. Publishing is for event organizers through an approved publisher account.

Before you start

  • Confirm you are authorized to promote the event
  • Prepare: event name, dates, city, venue, accurate description, and cover image
  • Read the publishing terms and benefits

Step 1: Sign in or register

Go to publish on the events directory. If you do not have an account, register as an event organizer. Consumer accounts may need to upgrade to the correct publisher type.

Step 2: Complete your organizer profile

Enter accurate organizer details: name, contact information, and official website. New organizer accounts may require review and approval before you can publish.

Step 3: Add a new event

From the publisher dashboard, create a new event and fill in:

  1. Event title — clear; include sector or city when helpful
  2. Dates — correct start and end dates
  3. Location — country, city, and venue (pick from the venues directory when possible)
  4. Category & event type — trade fair, conference, specialized show, etc.
  5. Description — audience, highlights, and side activities
  6. Media & links — cover image, official site, social profiles
  7. Entry fees — free or paid, as applicable

Step 4: Review & go live

After submission, the listing is pending review while Gludo checks accuracy and policy compliance. Once approved, it appears in the events directory and related country, city, and category lists.

Step 5: Keep it updated

Update dates, venue, or programme changes promptly. Past events are marked finished based on dates to keep the directory accurate.

Tips for faster approval & better visibility

  • Use a unique title — avoid duplicate listings for the same show
  • Write an original description (do not only paste the official site verbatim)
  • Link the correct venue from the places directory
  • Upload a quality cover image
