The defense industry in the United Arab Emirates has witnessed significant progress in the past decade and has begun exporting its expertise and products to the region and the entire world. However, despite the presence of thousands of factories in the country, estimates indicate that more than 80% of supplies in the defense industries sector are imported from foreign suppliers outside the United Arab Emirates.

The Ajban Defense Industries and Technology Exhibition has been designed to address this challenge. It aims to assist manufacturers in the defense industries sector in the United Arab Emirates in identifying new suppliers within the country, thereby reducing imported expenditures and increasing autonomy, supplier options, and creating new job opportunities and contracts within the nation.
