Riyadh Art is one of the four major projects of Riyadh launched by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz—may God protect him—initiated by His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Royal Commission for Riyadh City. The project aims to transform Riyadh into an open art gallery that blends authenticity with modernity by displaying interactive artworks in multiple locations across the city. This contributes to enhancing cultural activities in the city at both local and global levels, provides opportunities for young local talents to showcase their creativity, stimulates tourism and related economic activities in the city, engages residents and visitors of Riyadh, and raises the quality of life in the city by fostering artistic and creative aspects. The master plan for the Riyadh Art project includes 10 programs and two annual celebrations and forums.
