BIOFACH Saudi Arabia is the eighth member of the BIOFACH family, opening its doors for the first time in November 2022. The inaugural show was held at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center. The Saudi BIOFACH exhibition mirrors the local organic market. It will highlight the best local products and the organic lifestyle experience in the Middle East and North Africa region. Convince yourself!
The organic products sector in the Middle East is developing rapidly, with the consumption area for organic food and beverages increasing by over 60% in the past 5 years. The GCC countries, continuously fueled by population growth, are estimated to import more than 70% – 90% of their food needs. Saudi Arabia, as one of the largest countries in the MENA region, is heavily investing in the development of the organic sector – from rural production to the consumer – and identifies it as one of the key pillars for the future. Two special topics will be addressed: "Water" and "Organic Fertilizers".
