The Shanghai World Food Festival (FHC) serves as a crucial platform for international trade exchanges in the food and restaurant sector, in addition to being an important gateway and showcase for global food companies to enter the Chinese market. The exhibition is hosted by the All-China Bakery Association, the Shanghai Restaurant Association, and Shanghai Sinosbo Informa Markets International Exhibition Co., Ltd.; jointly organized by the China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Foodstuffs, Native Produce and Animal By-Products (CFNA); and supported by the China Canned Food Industry Association, the China Aquatic Products Processing and Marketing Alliance, the Zhejiang Hotel Association, the Jiangsu Provincial Food Profession Association, the Shandong Tourism and Hotel Association, and Zhejiang Times International Exhibition and Service Co., Ltd. The Shanghai World Food Festival (FHC) has been successfully held for 27 editions.

Looking at the previous edition of the Shanghai World Food Festival (FHC), a total of 171,828 professional visitors from domestic and international markets participated. These visitors covered a wide range of industry sectors, including importers, distributors/agents, supermarkets, retail stores, e-commerce/new retail, hotels, food and beverage (coffee and beverages), bakeries, confectioneries, and chain operations. This year's event implemented a ticketing system to promote the development of a high-quality audience. Despite this, visitor numbers achieved an annual growth rate of 10.96%, demonstrating a balance between quantity and quality.

The number of international professional attendees reached 5,611, an increase of 15.22% compared to 2023. These visitors came from 98 countries and regions, including Europe, the United States, Australia, Malaysia, South Korea, Thailand, Vietnam, Singapore, the Philippines, Russia, Asia, and Mongolia. They engaged in collaborative discussions with exhibitors from 51 countries and regions to explore business opportunities together.
