Once a year, the Frankfurt Book Fair becomes the city of global ideas: the most important international platform for content exchange, from novels and children's books to academic databases. For over 20 years, and within the framework of its business-to-business activities, the Frankfurt Book Fair has opened up to the digital transformation, and the accompanying new events. Professionals from film and gaming, business developers, IT experts, investors, startups, bloggers, and many others now feel completely at home in Frankfurt. The Book Fair continues to develop new services and products, such as the Self-Publishing Corner, which was launched very successfully in 2013, and "Frankfurt Hot Spots" – the meeting place for digital innovators.
