The International Conference and Exhibition of the College of Sport Science and Physical Activity was launched for the first time in 2018. Through this conference, the college aims to discuss the latest scientific issues in the sports field and develop solutions by inviting experts and specialists from all over the world to participate in shaping future plans and visions for sports.
This year, the college is organizing the Sixth International Conference and Exhibition for Sport Science and Physical Activity under the title "Hosting Sporting Events" from November 3-5, 2025. The conference coincides with global sporting events that resulted in the Kingdom winning the bid to host the 2034 FIFA World Cup and hosting the 2027 AFC Asian Cup, among other global hosting events embraced by the Kingdom and followed by the world. The college saw the importance of holding the conference to discuss the scientific, economic, investment, and employment aspects of hosting this type of sporting event. The conference discusses the importance of laws, regulations, and legislation related to hosting sporting events, keeping pace with modern developments in organizing these events, ensuring governance, fairness, and integrity in the sports field, studying the requirements for achieving security and safety during these events, and the role of artificial intelligence and technology in facilitating and developing event organization and providing entry and transportation for visitors and followers through modern smart applications and programs.
