Khalifa University of Science and Technology is hosting the eighth edition of the Asia-Pacific Robotics Cup 2025 (RoboCup) in Abu Dhabi from November 10 to 14, 2025. This reflects the accelerated development of the robotics ecosystem in the UAE and enhances the university's global leadership in the fields of artificial intelligence and autonomous systems.
Hosting the Asia-Pacific Robotics Cup 2025 supports the UAE's national priorities such as smart mobility, intelligent systems for sustainability, and technologies to address regional challenges. The 2025 edition focuses on global sustainability concepts and sustainable models based on intelligent systems, transformative industries, energy-efficient robotics, and sustainable manufacturing. This is achieved by encouraging participating teams to develop environmentally friendly robots using recycled materials and applying intelligent system technologies to improve resource management.
