Saudi Post was established in 1926 to provide postal services across all regions, making it one of the oldest national institutions ever, which has accompanied the development journey throughout the history of the Kingdom.

On April 29, 2021, "Saudi Post" culminated its journey by launching its new identity under the name "Sple," aligning with the transformation strategy the institution is undergoing in line with Saudi Vision 2030, to harmonize with one of the Kingdom's strengths as a global hub connecting continents, through its branches and offices spread across the Kingdom. Additionally, Sple's acquisition of Naqel Express is a commitment to its strategic values of moving with steady and rapid steps in delivering a distinctive experience and developing additional products and services that enhance the quality of the experience provided to the beneficiary. This acquisition will also boost investment opportunities in the logistics sector, which is one of the most important sectors extending to many businesses in local and global markets, by offering postal and logistical services, while ensuring the promotion of work culture and embedding concepts of creativity and innovation.
