MCT Group of Companies was founded in 1982 by His Excellency Sheikh Saeed Mohammed Bin Hasher Al Maktoum and has become one of the leading groups in the construction, oil, and gas sectors in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, employing over 250 staff. Since its inception, the group's business activities have expanded to include corrosion protection, repair and maintenance, construction chemicals, pipeline rehabilitation, dry mix mortars, and property maintenance. Each of these activities is managed as a specialized business entity to ensure optimal performance. To meet the growing demands in the GCC market, the group opened its second advanced manufacturing facility in the Dubai Investment Park on February 6, 2008.

Although construction chemicals remain at the core of its business, MCT's partnership with Belzona Polymerics Limited, a global leader in composite repair materials and high-performance coatings, has stimulated the group's growth and prosperity.
