Middle East Oil Refinery "MIDOR", located in Alexandria - Amreya, operates under the Free Zone regulations and is one of the high complexity refineries within the Mediterranean, Middle and Southern Europe Regions. It implement deep conversion units that maximize the production of white products. MIDOR was established on 21/7/1994 under the Ministerial Decree No. 323 of 1994 and was registered in the commercial register on 25/7/1994 as an Egyptian joint stock company under the General Free Zone regulations in accordance with the provisions of Investment Law No. 230 of 1989 and its amendments, which was replaced by Law No. 8 of 1997. Currently MIDOR is equipped To Produce the highest international specifications products as the revamping project is completed with a total investment of 2.7 billion USD to expand refining capacity to 160 thousand barrels per day.
