Saudi Council of Engineers

The Saudi Council of Engineers was established under Royal Decree No. (M/36) dated 26/09/1423H, pursuant to the Council of Ministers Resolution No. (226) dated 13/09/1423H. The Council is a professional scientific body entrusted with the advancement of the engineering profession and the enhancement of its standards and those of its practitioners.

Its mandate includes formulating the foundational principles and regulatory criteria for the practice and development of the profession, including licensing requirements, professional classification frameworks, and the examinations necessary for obtaining professional grades. The Council is further tasked with preparing studies and research, organizing specialized training programs, seminars, and conferences, and providing technical advisory services within its field of competence, all in accordance with the regulations approved by its Board of Directors.
