Dubai Private School for Students was founded in 1976 to attract expatriate residents of Dubai, and over the years it has evolved to become one of the best schools in Al Qusais, having received a "Good" rating from the Knowledge and Human Development Authority. In the early 1990s, the school moved from a small villa in Deira, Dubai, to its current building in Al Qusais.
The school welcomes students from the Early Years stage (pre-kindergarten) to the post-secondary education stage (Grade 11 – Grade 12). The school follows the British curriculum based on the standards of the National Curriculum of England.
