Al-Rousan Contracting Establishment was founded as a sole proprietorship in 1976 by its founder, Sheikh Hazza bin Ayesh Abalrous, in the Eastern Province. It contributed to the completion of several projects by acting as a subcontractor for major companies at the time. In 1985, the establishment relocated to the Riyadh region, coinciding with a period of significant economic development across the Kingdom. Since then, the vision has been to expand operations and enhance performance, ultimately achieving a first-class classification in the field of roads and bridges.
In 2011, the company was transformed into a closed joint-stock company with a paid-up capital of 100,000,000 riyals. This was a qualitative leap in the company’s path to participate in the implementation of mega projects in the Kingdom. Under the guidance of its Chairman of the Board, Sheikh Hazza bin Ayesh Abalrous, and urging all employees in the company, including engineers, administrators, and technicians, to raise the efficiency of production and the quality of the product to reach the best results, the company was able to obtain the ISO 9001 certificate at the level of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the field of road and bridge implementation. Al-Rousan Contracting Company became one of the top 10 companies at the level of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the field of road and bridge implementation.
