Naseem International School

The first school in the Kingdom of Bahrain to offer International Baccalaureate programs from kindergarten through pre-university, and the first to receive accreditation from the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC) from kindergarten to grade twelve.

Al Naseem International School was established in the Kingdom of Bahrain on January 4, 1982, as a bilingual school, welcoming students from kindergarten to grade twelve. The school is accredited by the Ministry of Education in the Kingdom of Bahrain. We are an International Baccalaureate (IB World) accredited school, offering all four International Baccalaureate programs: the Primary Years Programme (PYP), the Middle Years Programme (MYP), the Diploma Programme (DP), and the Career-related Programme (CP). Additionally, we are accredited by the Middle States Association (MSA) and the Council of International Schools (CIS). In November 2023, we successfully completed a comprehensive accreditation visit by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC). The International Baccalaureate Career-related Programme (IB CP) is a career-focused program that combines two IB Diploma courses, a BTEC Subsidiary Diploma in the students' area of interest, and the IB CP Core (the Reflective Project, Service Learning, Language Development, and Personal and Professional Skills). Upon successful completion of this program, our students will receive the International Baccalaureate Career-related Certificate (IB CP), the BTEC Subsidiary Diploma, and the accredited Al Naseem High School Diploma.

In November 2022, our school underwent an evaluation visit by the Education and Training Quality Authority (BQA). We are very proud to have received an "Outstanding" rating, the highest rating awarded to any school in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
