Saudi National Insurance Company (SNIC), previously known as Saudi National Insurance Company, has been protecting individuals and businesses with high-quality insurance coverage and a steadfast commitment to service excellence since 1974. The company was licensed by the Central Bank of Bahrain as a registered Bahraini company in 2006 with a paid-up capital of 10 million Bahraini dinars. Amid the rapid development of the insurance sector in the Middle East, a strategic transfer of its activities to Bahrain was executed in 2010, and Wataniya Insurance Company, a sister company based in Saudi Arabia, was formed. In the third quarter of 2010, Wataniya Insurance obtained full licensing and registration in Saudi Arabia, managing SNIC's former portfolio in the Kingdom through its main office in Jeddah and branches in Riyadh and Khobar (www.wataniya.com.sa). SNIC's insurance client base ranges from large corporations to individuals and families. While each client's service needs vary, the only common factor is our high standards of service and our adherence to our corporate values.
