Holding Company For Water & Waste Water

The Holding Company for Drinking Water and Sanitation and its subsidiaries bear the primary responsibility for ensuring life in Egypt, as God Almighty said, "And We made from water every living thing," so there is no life without water.
To fulfill this immense responsibility, the Holding Company and its subsidiaries achieve sustainable development goals by planning and implementing an integrated and harmonious system of efforts across several axes, none of which is less significant than the others.
The first of these axes, which is the official main mandate of the Holding Company and its subsidiaries, is the operation and maintenance of facilities for producing and distributing drinking water, and collecting and treating wastewater. However, in response to current challenges in water issues, the Holding Company has added two additional dimensions to this axis. One pertains to drinking water, where expansion in establishing seawater desalination plants has begun, and the other concerns wastewater, where the previous goal of its treatment was limited to safe disposal, but it is now treated with the aim of reuse by applying tertiary treatment technologies.
