Oman Environmental Services Holding Company

- The Omani Environmental Services Holding Company for Environmental Services S.A.O.C. (be'ah) was established in 2007.

- In 2009, Royal Decree No. 46/2009 was issued, granting be'ah the mandate and legal status as the entity responsible for managing solid waste in the Sultanate of Oman.

- be'ah's vision aims to preserve Oman's beautiful environment for future generations.

- The main objectives of be'ah are to control environmental damage caused by traditional waste disposal operations, structure the waste management sector and its associated services in a sustainable manner, and develop the industry and support the economy.

- be'ah works towards transitioning to sustainable waste management practices according to international standards by establishing the required infrastructure, restructuring municipal waste collection services, and increasing public awareness about waste management.
