Dubai Women Establishment

The Dubai Women Establishment was founded in 2006 as a government entity, under a decree issued by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, may God protect him. 

The Dubai Women Establishment aims to enhance the professional and leadership capabilities of Emirati women, increase their participation in the comprehensive development journey, and strengthen their role in shaping the economic and social future of the Emirate of Dubai. The establishment is chaired by Her Highness Sheikha Manal bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, wife of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs.

The establishment's strategic plan for 2023-2027 includes three main pillars: creating an enabling environment for women in the labor market, developing women leaders, and enhancing the quality of women's lives in society. Through these, the establishment seeks to achieve its vision of "Dubai as a global model for women-friendly cities." This strategy focuses on contributing to the enhancement of supportive legislation and policies, solidifying partnerships, and boosting the presence of Emirati women in global forums.
