The establishment of The Big Heart Foundation dates back to 2013, starting as a humanitarian fundraising campaign before evolving into an independent international humanitarian organization in 2015 under the directives of Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, wife of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, and Chairperson of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs in Sharjah. Its aim is to mobilize humanitarian efforts and enhance the provision of aid and assistance to refugees and those in need worldwide.
Since its inception, the foundation has successfully supported and assisted over 5 million beneficiaries in more than 35 countries through a series of projects and services in the healthcare, education, emergency response sectors, and other essential areas.
