The "Quarter Century" Foundation for Making Leaders and Innovators, which was announced for launch in September 2016 under the gracious directives of the wife of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah - Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi - President of the Quarter Century Foundation for Making Leaders and Innovators, is the first Emirati, Arab, and regional institution aimed at building an Emirati generation capable of leading and influencing the future, committed to its national identity.

Under the foundation fall Sharjah Children, Sharjah Youth, Sajaya Young Ladies of Sharjah, and Sharjah for Capability Development, while maintaining the financial and administrative independence of each. The "Quarter Century" Foundation undertakes the task of setting a unified strategic plan for these four institutions, to activate efforts and achieve optimal investment of energies and resources through an integrated system of educational and developmental programs, research, and studies, benefiting the affiliates, achieving sustainability, and serving the Sharjah community, the United Arab Emirates, and the international community.
