Sharjah Research Technology and Innovation Park

The Sharjah Research, Technology, and Innovation Park (SRTI) Free Zone was established in 2016 by an Emiri decree from His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, the Ruler of Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. It was tasked with developing and managing an innovation ecosystem that promotes research and development and supports entrepreneurial activities, leveraging the triple helix collaboration between industry, government, and academia.

With the University City of Sharjah as the backbone for cooperation and research, we strive to build a system aimed at generating innovation, nurturing talent, and fostering an interactive community of like-minded individuals from over 150 leading academic institutions, companies, and startups who connect, work, and thrive in the Sharjah Research, Development, and Innovation Park.
