General Organization for Social Insurance

Social Insurance came as an extension of the wise government of the Kingdom's efforts in social insurance and dignified living for various members of society. It is an independent governmental institution concerned with providing social protection and an insurance umbrella for all citizens of the Kingdom and workers in it across various sectors, including civil and military state employees, workers in the public and private sectors, in addition to a segment of citizens from Gulf Cooperation Council countries. Its objectives are centered on providing a dignified livelihood for workers and their families after retirement or in cases of disability and death. It also emphasizes the quality of an individual's life by offering healthcare and necessary compensations through the branch of occupational hazards for both Saudi and non-Saudi workers in cases of injuries and disabilities, in addition to providing care for Saudi workers who leave their jobs due to circumstances beyond their control, among other insurance and social services aimed at caring for every individual in society, ensuring their stability and well-being.
