National Competitiveness Center

The journey of the National Competitiveness Center, organizationally linked to the Economic and Development Affairs Council, began in 2019 to implement economic reforms that contribute to the prosperity of the business environment. This is achieved by monitoring the challenges and obstacles facing the private sector, proposing development recommendations, and working collaboratively with entities on implementation and compliance. The journey continues towards its goal of "placing the Kingdom among the world's most competitive countries."

An independent government center, established in 2019, with an independent legal personality, organizationally linked to the Economic and Development Affairs Council. The center integrates with 65 government entities to improve and develop the competitive environment in the Kingdom, and to elevate the Kingdom's ranking in recognized global indicators and reports related to competitiveness. This is done by studying, identifying, and analyzing the obstacles and challenges facing the public and private sectors, and proposing solutions, initiatives, and recommendations, as well as following up on their implementation.
