Dubai National School-Al Barsha

Dubai National School was established in 1988, a private American school in Dubai owned by His Excellency Mr. Marwan Al Ghurair, an Emirati businessman from a family deeply rooted in the Gulf business sector. The school is managed by a board of trustees characterized by ambition and commitment to the national and international vision for educational development.
Since then, Dubai National School has grown to have two branches offering the American program, located in the Al Barsha and Al Twar areas of Dubai, with a total of 4000 male and female students. The two strategic locations were carefully chosen to serve all interested students in Dubai and Sharjah.
Dubai National School - Al Barsha serves 2500 male and female students from 52 nationalities in grades from kindergarten to twelfth grade. Staff are appointed locally and internationally. The school includes 360 well-trained professional staff from 30 Arab and non-Arab nationalities.

Dubai National School - Al Barsha offers the American curriculum based on Massachusetts state standards. Its academic program meets the needs of the multinational community in Dubai. English is the medium of instruction in all subjects across all stages, with a focus on Arabic, Islamic Studies, Social Studies, Moral Education, and Culture for both Arabic and non-Arabic speakers, in accordance with the programs prescribed by the Ministry of Education.
