Al-Shuwaikh Holding Gateway Company was established as a Kuwaiti shareholding company in 2004 with the purpose of undertaking various activities and projects within Kuwait and the Gulf Cooperation Council countries.

The company - whose endeavors align with the provisions of Islamic Sharia - holds shares in Kuwaiti and foreign shareholding companies. In addition to owning shares in limited liability companies, whether local or foreign, Al-Shuwaikh Gateway participates in establishing, managing, financing, and providing third-party insurance for these companies. Al-Shuwaikh Gateway also provides financing and third-party insurance for companies in which it holds shares, and in such cases, the holding company constitutes at least 20% of the capital of the mentioned company.

Al-Shuwaikh Holding Gateway Company also owns industrial property rights such as patents, trademarks, designs, and any other related rights, and lends these rights to other companies for utilization both inside and outside Kuwait.

Additionally, the company owns the necessary assets and real estate to carry out its activities within the legally permitted standards. Any surplus is reinvested in funds managed by specialized companies with expertise in their field.
