Abdullah H. Al-Shuwayer Sons Trading& Contracting Company

Abdullah Hamood Al Shuwaier Company is one of the leading construction contracting companies in the Eastern Province of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The company was founded by Abdullah Al Hamood Al Shuwaier in Ras Tanura, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in 1945.

The company began construction contracting in 1945 for housing projects with Saudi government authorities, and gas and oil facilities projects with the Arabian Oil Company (AOC), and as a subcontractor for Bechtel Corporation for its oil-related projects with the Arabian American Oil Company (Aramco).

In 1967, Al Shuwaier Company expanded its scope of work by contracting directly with Aramco for projects in Ras Tanura, Abqaiq, and other oil fields in the Eastern Province, and with the Arabian American Oil Company in Khafji. The value of these projects exceeded 60 million US dollars and included construction and mechanical works for liquefied gas stations, gas-oil separation plants, and water desalination plants. Manufacturing marine jackets and general support facilities for oil production.

From 1967 to 2005, the company completed numerous large civil works, hydro-mechanical projects, industrial facilities, buildings, residential units, and oil and gas facilities, with its sales volume exceeding 3.5 billion Saudi Riyals.

The completed projects contributed to building the company's reputation as one of the leading Saudi contracting companies in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and allowed Al Shuwaier Company to maintain its strong presence in the contracting market despite the departure of some of its foreign partners.
