Additionally, a Geographic Information Systems (G.I.S.) unit was established, which was used in completing the comprehensive plan project for Al-Kharj Governorate, the detailed plans project for Al-Kharj Governorate, as well as the project to complete detailed plans for Jeddah Governorate, the comprehensive plan for Al-Dawadmi Governorate, and the comprehensive development project for Shaqra and Afif governorates.
