Alshitaiwi Travel & Tourism

The beginnings were nearly sixty years ago, back in the year 1385H corresponding to 1960. The story started in the north, following the compass direction, where Al-Qurayyat (the city of salt and olives) is the gateway to the homeland from the northwestern side.
The start involved representing Saudi Arabian Airlines as the general agent in the region at the airport and the country. We worked on operating flights, making flight reservations, and issuing tickets. On that day, the aircraft fleet was very simple, "Dakota," with a weekly flight, and communication means were extremely limited, represented by the radio at the airport, to determine the departure and arrival times of the flights.
After that, Al-Shitawi's compass for tourism and travel turned to other regions of the world, beginning a phase of expansion and spread.
It began in Jeddah in 1984, then Riyadh, followed by Tabuk, and then Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah.
