Securities Depository Center Company (Edaa)

The Securities Depository Center Company (Edaa) is the securities depository center of the Saudi Tadawul Group. Edaa provides advanced post-trade services that ensure the security and efficiency of trading operations in the Saudi financial market.

The Securities Depository Center Company (Edaa) was established in 2016 as a closed joint-stock company in accordance with the Saudi Companies Law issued by Royal Decree No. M/3 dated 28/1/1437 H, with a capital of 400,000,000 Saudi Riyals divided into 40,000,000 shares with a nominal value of 10 Saudi Riyals, fully owned by the Saudi Tadawul Group.

1. Operating and maintaining the Depository and Settlement System, an electronic registration system used for recording and maintaining securities ownership. 

2. Managing general assemblies of issuers, including providing remote voting (electronic voting) services, and preparing reports, notifications, and other services. 

3. Preserving securities data and providing related services

4. Facilitating activities related to equity, debt, sukuk, bonds, exchange-traded funds, real estate investment traded funds, investment funds, and other financial instruments in the Saudi financial market.
