Art Basel is a leading brand in the global art market. Our portfolio also includes many leading platforms in the business-to-consumer sector in Switzerland across a variety of industries.
The organizers of the Baselworld trade show have decided to take more time to launch the new concept.
This decision is based on one hand on the experience gained from the pop-up event during Geneva Watch Days and on intensive discussions with manufacturers and retailers. On the other hand, it takes into account the fact that launching a new concept for a new target segment is particularly difficult due to the worsening situation of the novel coronavirus and the associated uncertainty among customers. An interdisciplinary team from the MCH Group will analyze the target segments, and through close exchange with manufacturers and retailers, delve into their marketing and transactional needs.
